Dean Adamson, 88, of the Blue Licks Community passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. He was born on September 18, 1928 in Robertson County son of the late John Thomas & Verdie Cooper Adamson. Mr. Adamson was a devout and beloved family man and neighbor. He was a lifelong farmer, and a member of the Blue Licks Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Frakes Adamson and  his second wife, Doris Adamson; and Nine Siblings.

He is survived by his children; Robert Earl (Judy) Adamson, Darrell Wayne (Diane) Adamson, Ronald Lee (Kathy) Adamson, Richard Dean (Kathy) Adamson, Larry Dwayne (Robin) Adamson, Brenda Kay (Frank) Foster and Deana Carol (Jim) McCoy, A special friend, Betty Jo Howard, 10 Grandchildren; Jason Adamson, Justin Adamson, Lee Callahan, Derrick Adamson, Tabitha Johnson, Faith Tomlinson, Melissa Ritchie, Katie Cheek, Adrian McCoy & Rebecca McCoy, 17 Great Grandchildren, one brother, Carlos Adamson and two sisters, Alma Evans & Evelyn Jolly.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1PM on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Brother Ron Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in the May’s Lick Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be; Derrick Adamson, Jamey Johnson, Daniel Ritchie, Samuel Cheek, Brian Tomlinson & Gary Gray.   A visitation will be held from 3 – 7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
