Floyd Thomas Purcell, 77, of Maysville passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at The Care Center of Kenton Pointe.
Tom was born in May’s Lick on January 26, 1939 son of the late Granville & Della Mae Hamilton Purcell. He was a retired meat cutter and a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Aberdeen and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife Linda Hesler Purcell. Three children also survive, Allen (Tammy) Purcell; Kimberly (Tom) Purcell; and Sue (Dwayne) Moran all of Maysville; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday at the May’s Lick Cemetery with the Pastor Don Owens officiating. There will be no visitation. Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory of May’s Lick is serving the family. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
