FLEMINGSBURG   Helen Turner Sanders, 85, of Fleming County, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on August 12, 2017.

          Mrs. Sanders was born on May 10, 1932 daughter of the late John & Jenny Gardner Turner. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

          Survivors include 2 sons, Alan (Nancy) Sanders and Lee (Janet) Sanders both of Fleming County; 4 grandchildren, Brandon (Chandra) Sanders, Kristian (Ashley) Sanders Emmons, Amanda (Kevin) Sanders Maynard and Austin Clay Sanders;  4 great-grandchildren, Wyatt Brooks Emmons, Carter Allen Sanders, Claire Brooklyn Emmons and Clayton Joseph Sanders and a sister Elnora Kearns of Maysville.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl Clay Sanders; 2 sisters, Beulah Meadows and Catherine Hickerson; a brother, Jimmy Turner and a step-brother Howard Gardner.

          Per Mrs. Sanders request, Graveside Services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 12 Noon at Wedonia Cemetery with Pastor Larry Manning and Brandon Sanders officiating.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory of May’s Lick is serving the family.  Memorials suggested Grace Baptist Church, 6025 KY 11 3170, Maysville,  KY 41056 or Gideon’s International.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
