Ronny Rudy, 74, of May’s Lick passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  Ronny was born on Happy Ridge on May 16, 1942 son of the late Charles & Irene Hitt Rudy.  He was a retired tobacco & dairy farmer and heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed tractor pulls, church, traveling and four wheeling and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of May's Lick Lighthouse Church.
Ronny was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Huddleston Rudy on March 15, 2011 and a son Chris Rudy; a daughter, Libby Rudy and a brother Tommy Rudy.  Survivors include a daughter Connie (Pastor Danny) Howard of May’s Lick; 2 grandsons Chad ( Deandra) Howard and Charles Howard; a great-son, Gabriel Howard;  a brother, Joe Rudy of Prestonsburg and 2 sisters Patti (Billy) Getz of Ewing and Pam Gullett of Prestonsburg.
Services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2016 at May’s Lick Lighthouse Church with Pastor Danny Howard and Bro. John R. Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 11 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.  Memorials suggested to May’s Lick Lighthouse Church.  Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory of May’s Lick is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.
