FLEMINGSBURG William Earl Kinder, 89, of Flemingsburg passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at his residence.
Earl was born near May’s Lick on August 22, 1927 son of the late William McKinley & Cordie McKee Kinder. He was a retired dairy farmer and was a member of Unity Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was a former director of the Bank of May’s Lick and a graduate of May’s Lick High School.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Wilma Lykins Kinder; a daughter Peggy (Nathan) Lewis of Ewing; three step sons, Jeff (Angie) Vice of Ewing, Jimmy (Rachael) Vice of Tollesboro; Doug Vice of Grayson; three grandchildren, Jada Lewis, Riley Lewis and Sadie Lewis; four step grandchildren, Kindra Vice, Kimberly Miller, Tyler Vice and Trevor Vice; seven step great-grandchildren; a sister Ruby Rigsby of Morehead and a nephew Steve (Brenda) Rigsby and a great nephew Chris Rigsby.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church in Flemingsburg with Rev. Charles Walton and Pastor’s Mike Vice and James Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the May’s Lick Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-8 Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Unity Baptist Church 869 Elizaville Ave. Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
