Brian Keith Stitt, 40, of May’s Lick, KY passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Brian was born on June 29, 1983, in Maysville, KY the son of Keith and Patty McVey Stitt.
Brian was a 2001 graduate of Mason County High School. He grew up in May’s Lick being a farm boy, riding four wheelers, hunting, fishing, and farming with his dad. He was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Brian loved his family fiercely and would do anything for his friends and family. He will be remembered for his heart of gold and his infectious smile that would light up the room. Brian will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brian leaves behind his loving parents, Keith and Patty Stitt; twin brother, Bradley Stitt; grandmothers, Shirley McVey and Betty Stitt; special niece Madalyn Stitt, special cousins; Shaina Kielman, Taylor Reed; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Diana Gifford Stitt, James C. Stitt, and Edward O. McVey.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Dr. Mike Rice officiating. Active pallbearers will be Bradley Stitt, Jeff McVey, Barry McVey, Brent Prince, Josh Kielman and Jacob Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy McVey, Jeff Sheilds, Jason Gifford, Lee Gifford and Gary Cracraft. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 5-8 P.M. Brian will be laid to rest in the Shannon Cemetery.
