MAYS LICK   Alene Allison, 100, of May’s Lick passed away on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

          Miss Allison was born in May’s Lick on January 30, 1918 daughter of the late Wesley Lee & Ida Buchanan Allison.  She was a retired employee of the Bank of Maysville and the oldest living member of the May’s Lick Baptist Church where she had served as an office volunteer.

          Survivors include a sister Ruth Cromer Richards; two brothers, Charles Allison and John Allison. Numerous nieces & nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Catherine Mains and Etta Moneyhon and three brothers, Rutherford Allison, Rev. Archie Allison and Elmer Allison.

          Services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Rev. David C. Cheek officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. Saturday until the time of the service.  Memorials suggested to Hospice of Hope or May’s Lick Baptist Church.  Condolences to
