GERMANTOWN Athlene “Sis” Applegate Garrison, 58, of Germantown passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2018
“Sis” was born in Maysville on November 21, 1959 daughter of the late Harvey Applegate and Elizabeth Berry. She was a Homemaker and former employee of Jockey International and a member of Chatham Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband Mike Garrison; a son Eric (Brittany) Poe of Georgetown, KY; a daughter, Kaysha (Josh) Sutton of Germantown; a step-mother Doris Silvey Applegate of Germantown; three granddaughters, Jaycee Poe, Keegan and Kamie Mullikin; two brothers Harvey W. Applegate of Erlanger and William Byrne of Germantown; two sisters, Tammy (Troy) White of May’s Lick and Bonita (John) Dove of Myrtle Beach, SC; several nieces & nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, August 13,2018 at Chatham Christian Church in Bracken County with Bro. Jackie McElfresh officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Germantown. Visitation will be held 4-7 P.M. Sunday at the church. Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory of May’s Lick is serving the family.
