Alice Lofton Lusk, 73, of Lexington passed away Monday,  June 21, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in May's Lick.
Mrs. Lusk was born in May's Lick on July 1, 1936 daughter of the late John Albert & Ora Lee Bolden Lofton.
Survivors included her husband George W.  Lusk, Sr.  1 daughter, Diana Franklin, and 4 sons, James L. Jordan, Larry D. Jordan, Robert A. Jordan and George W. Lusk, Jr. all of Lexington. A step daughter Vicki Lusk.  Seven grandchildren and 8 great-grand children.  2 sisters, Anna "Duke" Bluford of May's Lick and Loretta Smith of Cincinnati.  Several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Cynthia Guinn and Mary Warner and 2 brothers, Paul Lofton & John Lee Lofton.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick.  Interment will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Visitation 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. Saturday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family.  www.palmerfuneralhome.net
