Alvin Taylor Davis, Jr., 89, of Maysville passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Davis was born in Mason on April 15, 1934 son of the late Alvin Taylor and Mattie Rhodes Bell Davis.  He was a retired farmer, and Farmer's Home Administration Loan Officer for over 30 years and a 1958 graduate of University of Kentucky majoring in Agriculture.  Alvin was a member of May's Lick Lions Club and the Maysville Rotary Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Laverna Davis of Erlanger; Lora Davis of Maysville; and a son Jim (Missy) Davis of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Annie Wamsley, Ava Wamsley, Shelby Davis, Maddie Davis, and Joey Bickley; and a sister Carolyn Landreth of May's Lick. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Bill Davis; and a longtime companion Royce Pfeffer.

Services will be at the Convenience of the Family.  Memorials suggested to the May's Lick Lions Club.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
