Her battle is over! Angela Dawn Boone has left this life to be with the Lord.  A wonderful Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, and Friend passed after her battle with cancer on Friday, June 30 2017 with her loved ones surrounding her at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  She was born on February 13, 1974 in Winchester, KY to Barbara Jo Wenz, of Maysville.
Angie is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Henry L. Boone.  Their enduring love set an example for all to follow.  Her pride and joy were her children Bradley, Madeleine, and Katelyn Boone, Angela (Chad) Ishmael, Henry Clayton (Jennifer) Boone, and Sarah (Lahiru) Jayasuriya.  She was preceded in death by a son, Justin K. Boone.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Jarrod, Spencer, and Libby Ishmael, Bailey and Henry Blake Boone, Isabella and Jax Jayasuriya.  Her greatest moments and memories involve the times she spent with family by her side.  She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events and especially the times spent with the Mason County Royals basketball families.  She is also survived by a sister, Debra Pacheco and several nephews, a great nephew and great niece.
Angie was blessed with special life-long friends who she loved dearly, Jennifer Maynard Breeze, Debby Knox Mitchell, and Jennifer Jacobs Tracy.
Angie was a 1993 graduate of Mason County High school and received her Bachelor of Science Nursing at Maysville Community College.  Angie continued the Royal tradition by returning to her alma mater through employment as the High School Nurse for 16 years.  The lives that she touched were beyond measure as she offered her love, understanding, and compassion to "her" students in their greatest times of need.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday July 3, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Bro. Chris Neal and Bro. Kevin Jack officiating.  Burial will be in the May's Lick Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday July 2, 2017 at the Funeral Home.  Memorials suggested to Hospice of Hope or the American Cancer Society.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
