Ann Browning Tolle Cunnning, 88, of Sarasota, Fl, passed away on June 10, 2011.
She was born March 11, 1923 near  May's Lick  KY daughter of the late Rueben & Mittie Doughtery Tolle.  She was married for 69 years to Harold R.Cunning, Jr.
Upon her marriage she moved to Bridgeport, CT. During her husbands career they were transferred many times over the years throughout New York State and New England landing in Easton, Ct, till they retired to East Goshen, PA to be near grandchildren and later to Sarasota, Fl.
A devoted wife, mother, and friend, she devoted her life to making her home welcoming and loved entertaining. She was an avid bridge player, an excellent knitter, and loved writing letters and receiving letters. She made the most of everywhere she lived and never wanted to miss a moment that could be spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Robert Cunning, Jr; four daughters and their spouses, Betty Ann Cunning and John Barnes of Bedford, NH; Susan Ward Cunning and Vince Walls of Basking Ridge, NJ; Nancy Jean Cunning and Paul Jurberg of Brookline, MA; and Margaret Cunning and Paul Barbaro of Bradenton, FL.: and eight grandchildren, Christy Walls of Morristown, NJ,Courtney Walls of Philadelphia, Richard Walls, of Hoboken, NJ, and Caroline Walls of Hoboken, NJ.; Paul Barbaro Jr of Rochester, MN, Steven Barbaro Cunning of New York City, Robert Barbaro of Santa Monica, CA, and Anne Jurberg of Brookline, MA.
Graveside services will be held on Friday,  July 8, 2011, at 3 PM  at the May's Lick Cemetery.
