Anna Duke Lofton Bluford, 72, of May's Lick departed this life on September 9, 2014 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was a former employee of Wald Manufacturing and a caregiver.
Anna was born in May's Lick on April 12, 1942 daughter of the late John Albert & Ora Lee Bolden Lofton. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was the widow of Rheuben Bluford Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Preston (Pauletta) Porter of Lexington and Rhueben Bluford II of May's Lick; three daughters, April Corde and Lavern Bluford of May's Lick and Deborah (Mark) Allen of Maysville. Also surviving is a step daughter, Vicki Marshall of Aberdeen, OH and a sister Loretta Smith of Cincinnati, OH. 16 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces nephews and friends and a special friend Eugene Warner. She was preceded in death by two brothers Paul & John Lee Lofton; three sisters Alice Lusk, Mary Evelyn Warner and Cynthia Guinn and a step son Darryl Bluford.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday September 13, 2014 at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.
