Ashley Dale "Ash" Lawrence, 25, of May's Lick passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at his residence.

Ashley was born in Maysville on May 22, 1991 son of Ronald & Angie Butcher Lawrence of May's Lick.  He was a 2009 graduate of Mason County High School and attended Kentucky Wesleyan University.  He was currently an employee of Crounse Corporation and was a former employee of Hinton Mills and Central Farm Supply in Louisville.  Ash enjoyed playing soccer and was an avid fan of  U.K. Basketball and spending time with his son.

Survivors other than his parents are a son Landon Lawrence of Ft. Campbell, KY; a brother, Trevor Lawrence of May's Lick and several dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth & Glenna Frodge Lawrence and Forrest & Doris Fraley Butcher.

Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at May's Lick Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Hammond officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery with Trevor Lawrence, Robert Schwallie, Kelly Rose, Lee Lawrence, Brent Rose and Archie Rose serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.  Memorials suggested to Shannon United Methodist Church or the May's Lick Baptist Church.  Condolences left at www.palmerfuneralhome.net
