Betty Alice Evans, age 72 passed away on June 30, 2011 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky after a brief illness.  She was born on November 11, 1938 in Chacotah, Oklahoma to the late George Lasiter and Willie Jones Lasiter.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to her parents her husband, Mr. Billy Pope Evans, and four siblings, preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters; Deborah Stitt and husband Paul of May's Lick, Kentucky and Diane Svensson and husband Charles, M.D. of Des Moines, Iowa, five grandchildren; Elizabeth Davidson, Christa Tate, Tiffany Neal, Rachel Kleiber & Stephanie Kleiber, two great-grandchildren; Emily Grace Love & Michael Isaac Young, five brothers Tim, Jim, Calvin, Eddie & Doyle Lasiter, and three sisters; Letha Hill, Rita Pendergraft & Opal Licon.

All Funeral Services for Betty Alice Evans will be private, Interment Services will be held at a later date in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick cared for all Arrangements. Online condolences may be given at www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
