Betty Mitchell White, 82, of Louisville passed away Wednesday March 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.  She was the widow of the late Alvin Edward White whose death occurred in 1986.
Mrs. White was born in Fleming County on August 31, 1931 daughter of the late Archie & Lucy Yazell Mitchell.
Survivors include a daughter Lynn (Harold) Overstreet and a son Ernest (Melissa) White both of Louisville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a brother Paul Mitchell of Fleming County.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy Sweet, Lillian Hamilton and Elsie Flora and five brothers, James Mitchell, William (Bud) Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Roy Mitchell and Albert Mitchell.
Visitation 1PM until 4P.M. Saturday March 15, 2014 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.  There will be no funeral service.  Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery in Maysville.
