Miss Billie Shawn Thomas was born October 8, 1974 in Maysville, Kentucky and departed this life in to the arms of her Heavenly Father, Tuesday May 19, 2015 at the home of her parents in Gahanna, Ohio.

Billie was the youngest of two daughters born from the union of Vincent Kelly and Edna F. Gordon Thomas, Ph.D. Billie faithfully attended The First Church of God of Columbus, Ohio where Bishop Timothy J. Clarke serves as Senior Pastor



Ms. Thomas leaves to mourn along with her parents, her daughter Destiny Thomas of Maysville Kentucky; her only sibling, Kellie (Christopher) Wilburn; her only nephew, Vincent Christopher Wilburn all of Blacklick, Ohio; Nieces, Tionna and Brionna Jones of Florence, Ky.; Godparents, Robert and Olivia Thomas, M.D. of Columbus, Ohio; Godsisters, Mrs. Erin Thomas Hopkins and Dr. Alicia Thomas of Blacklick, Ohio: Goddaughter Ilea Cade; Uncles,Theodore "Pete" (Dorine) Gordon of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Mitchell (Theresa) Thomas of Maysville, Ky.;  John Thomas, Darryl (Andrea) Franklin, Terry (Beatrice) McCleary, all of Columbus, Ohio; Aunts, Judith Greene, Vonda Lofton, Shirley Steward, Deborah (Walter) Hughes, Mary Breckenridge all of Maysville; Mrs. Connie Warner, Mrs. Escaletta (Joseph) Lofton of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Mrs. Darlene Lockett of Columbus, Ohio and a host of cousins and extended family members.

Billie graduated from Walnut Ridge High School.  She attended The Ohio State University.  She graduated from Ohio Technical College with a Degree in Nursing and worked for Franklin County Parent Directed Program.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky where Pastors Christopher Lee and Terence Taylor (cousin) will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. The  visitation 11 A.M. until the hour of the service Tuesday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick Is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
