Billy Gayle Ritchie, 78, of Maysville, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the care of Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe.

Billy was born in May's Lick on July 13, 1941 son of the late Raymond Gaylord & Virgie Clay Ritchie.  He was a retired employee of the State Highway Department and was a farmer.  He was a member of the Maysville Community Lighthouse Church.  He enjoyed bowling and his church activities.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Grande and April Ritchie; two sons Billy Ray Ritchie and Rocky Ritchie all of Aberdeen; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  a sister Martha Ertugrul of Wadesboro, NC; a brother Don A. Ritchie of Charleston, SC.  He was preceded by his parents and a brother Stevie Ray Ritchie.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Sunday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Bro. John R. Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11 A.M until 1 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
