Bonnie Lee Owen, 63 of Flemingsburg passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington.  Bonnie was born on July 16, 1956 in Cape Canaveral, Florida daughter of the late Morton Ray & Joan Spiers Thompson.

Bonnie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Church in Maysville and was formerly a records keeper at Kentucky State University.  Of all her accomplishments she was first and foremost a devoted mother and grandmother to her beloved family.

In addition to her parents Bonnie was preceded in death by a daughter, Corinne Lynn "Cori" Hunt, and a brother, Mort Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Edward "Ed" Owen, a son, Rob (Kristine) Owen, a daughter, Stacey (Eric Desmarais) Owen, her grandchildren; Ty, Tyra, Tytus & Tyler Boerger, Felix & Remi Desmarais, Aysia Pierce, Murron Karas & Rhonwyn Owen, a son-in-law, J.R. Hunt, and her siblings; Cindy Owen, John Thompson, Mark Thompson and Dee Thompson.
