Brian E. Davis, 49, of Chicago died February 7, 2017 in Chicago.  Brian was born in Chicago on October 26, 1967 son of Valerie Brooks Davis of Chicago and the late Earl Davis.  He was a transporter for the Courier Company and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  He was a graduate of Morehead State University where he was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

Survivors other than his mother are a sister, Earlene Jackson of Chicago and several nieces & a nephew, aunts and uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eric Davis and Morris Davis.

Services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick with   Rev. L. Rodney Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Visitation 10 A.M. until Noon Monday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory of May's Lick is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
