Bryan Ritchie, 75, of Elizaville passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his home with his wife Melissa and sister-in-law, Alice Barton by his side.  He was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on July 7, 1950, to the late Dudley and Rosevelyn Wagner Ritchie.

Bryan was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed working on his tractors and doing small engine work. While Bryan's absence will be felt by many, he expressed that he preferred his life to be honored through celebration rather than mourning.

He leaves behind to celebrate his life, his loving wife of 29 years, Melissa Shields Ritchie.  One daughter, Amanda (Ethan) Ramsey; four grandchildren, Madilyn, Jean, Anna, and Chance Ramsey of Flemingsburg and a host of extend family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Rosevelyn Ritchie, daughter, Lenette Ritchie, and several other loved ones.

In keeping with Bryan's wishes, he was cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Bryan's name to the Cancer Care Club of Flemingsburg, P.O. Box 189 Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
