Calvin L. White, 76 of Maysville, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 1, 1938 in Robertson County to the late Albert & Laura Wood White.
Mr. White attended the May's Lick High School and later became a successful self-employed businessman until his retirement. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, an avid sports fan; he enjoyed golfing, cars, and UK basketball. He was also a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a man who never met a stranger and that touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn F. White, and a sister, Katie Buck.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie (Keith) Sherman of Maysville, his son, David (Inger Brinegar) White of Winchester, Granddaughters; Caroline (Luke) Hawkins, Kelsey England and Peyton Berryman, a sister, Joyce Cooper, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with the Rev. Ray Snider officiating, Keith Sherman, Wayne Buck, Rick Litton, Jim Emmons, Mark Reichoff, Joe David England and Luke Hawkins will be serving as casket bearers. Interment will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon – 3 PM on Saturday at the Funeral Home. The Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family.
