MAYS LICK Carol Case Rushmeyer, 91, resident of May's Lick passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was a longtime employee of Kroger and the widow of Raymond A. Rushmeyer whose death occurred on Feb. 6, 1984.
Mrs. Rushmeyer was born in Murphysville on December 25, 1921 daughter of the late John & Anna Faul Case. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and the May's Lick Homemakers.
Survivors include five children, James R. Rushmeyer of Aberdeen, OH, Elizabeth (Victor) Feeney of Alexandria, KY, Sue (Jim) Ellington of Rincon, GA, Alan "Butch" (Angie) Rushmeyer of Aberdeen, OH and Helen (Leo) McKay of May's Lick. Eight grandchildren, Tara (Jason) Carter, Anna (Joe) Abner, Autumn Gruber, Ashton Gruber, Lauren Rushmeyer, Matthew (Laura Beth) Rushmeyer, Megan McKay and Jacob McKay. Eight great-grandchildren, Sienna, Logan, Joey, Taylor, Issiah, Kinley, Hailee Rose and Landon. Two sisters, Anne Chumbler and Jane (Emmitt) Poe both of May's Lick. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband and three sisters, Garnett Nathan, Marie Bostian and Roberta Butler.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be 11 A.M. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in May's Lick. Rev. Verne Hogan celebrating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Cincinnati. Visitation 9 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Thursday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.
