Cathy Jane Hord, 65 of Lexington, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Richmond Place in Lexington.  She was born on July 14, 1949 in Mason County to the late Thornton & Jean Swart Hord.  Cathy was retired from the Square D Company with 36 years of service, and a member of the Sardis Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother; Gregory Hord.

She is survived by two brothers; Michael (Tracey) Hord of Maysville, and Jeffrey (Denise) Hord of Cynthiana, and her amazing group of friends at Square D and the American Legion in Lexington.

Private Services will be conducted at the Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Dr. Mike Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Lexington Humane Society (1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504) and/or  The John D.
