MAYS LICK   Charles E. Allison, 90, of Maysville passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, OH.

Mr. Allison was born in May's Lick on April 12, 1928 son of the late Wesley Lee & Ida Buchanan Allison.  He was a lifelong farmer. Farming was not only his occupation but his recreation.  Charles was a former member of May's Lick Lions Club and the Flemingsburg Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Jan Allison, a son Charles E. Allison Jr. (Molly); two daughters Sharon Swisher (Eric) and Janet Mitchell; A step daughter, Christina Mathiansen (Paul); five grandchildren,  Lyndi Vandeursen (Jeff),  Jennifer Brooke Allison, Allison Swisher, Erica Swisher and Maria Bieber (Shane); three great-grandchildren, Audrey Charles Vandeursen, Jayden Charles Bieber and Braylen Bieber; a sister Ruth Cromer Richards and a twin brother John (Mary Ann) Allison. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Catherine Mains, Etta Moneyhon and Alene Allison; three brothers, Rutherford Allison, Rev. Archie Allison and Elmer Allison.

Services will be conducted at Noon on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Chad Current officiating.  Burial will be in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the hour of the service.  Memorials suggested to May's Lick Lions Club or Lewisburg VFD.
