Charles M. Simmons, 81, of Maysville passed away on Monday January 27, 2020 at his home.

Charlie was born in Fleming County on July 29, 1938 son of the late Charles R. & Perlina Stephenson Simmons. He was a retired 39 year employee of Emerson Power Transmission.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #52 F&AM and the Shriners Oleika Temple in Lexington.

Survivors include his wife Juanita F. Simmons.  A son Gregory C. Simmons of Cincinnati; 3 grandchildren,  Shelby Tate Simmons, Jonathan T. Simmons, Charles T. Simmons.  He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Simmons.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick.  Masonic rites will be held at 6:30 P.M.
