Christine M. Bryant of Maysville, formerly of Chatham, VA entered into her eternal reward on April 27,2022 at the age of 88.  She was born in Chatham, VA on March 2,1934 daughter of the late Guy Blanton & Lou Alice Henderson Motley. She was the widow of Dewey Elmo Bryant.  Until her health prevented her to do so, she always enjoyed worshipping with the church her son-in-law was pastor. Even when confined to home due to health, she always enjoyed family devotions each night and listening to preachers on her iPad.  She was a graduate of Chatham High School and started her career as a teller for Planters National Bank and concluded her career as Assistant Vice President of Wachovia Bank, serving as branch manager of the Tightsqueeze office, receiving numerous achievements awards during her tenure. She and her husband were founding members of Cornerstone Church of Christ in Chatham.

Mrs. Bryant is survived her daughter, Debra (Mike) Stephenson of Maysville, KY; her granddaughter Aimee Stephenson of Lexington, KY; her sister, Marie Mustain of Danville, VA; two sisters in laws Nancy Bryant of Gretna, VA and Betty Bryant of Lynchburg, VA; three nephews and two nieces.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Dane Bryant.

Graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family in the Hillscrest Cemetery in Chatham, VA.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Church of Christ, 1186 Fairview N, Chatham, VA 24531. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
