Clement Ritter, Jr., age 86, passed away Thursday evening, February 19, 2015, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center
Visitation for Mr. Ritter will be Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort. Graveside services will be conducted by Palmer Funeral Home, May's Lick, Kentucky, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at May's Lick Cemetery at 1 P.M.
Clement was born July 23, 1928, in Palmyra, Missouri, a son of the late Rev. Clement Ritter, Sr. and Anna Pogue Darnall Ritter. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Department of Transportation, Kentucky State Government.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Theresa Courtney Ritter and his brother, James Darnall Ritter.
He will be remembered as a supportive and loving father to his sons, Andrew Clement Ritter (Shelley), Winchester, KY and LTC Mark Ritter (Leah), Frankfort. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Celia, Lucas and Samuel Ritter and sister-in-law, Sally Ritter, Chester Springs, PA.
