Connie Day Alexander, 89, of Sardis passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Connie was born in Mason County on February 26, 1935, the daughter of the late William P. and Nona Brierly Day.  She was a very active person in the community sharing her talents with several organizations.  She was a member of the Sardis Christian Church and the Sardis Homemakers as well as the Mason County Homemakers.  She was noted for playing the piano for various events and was a tour guide in Old Washington.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, John W. Alexander.  Two sons, Rick (Betsy) Alexander and Kirk (Allison) Alexander, two grandchildren Buffy Edington and Kylie Alexander; and a great-grandson Brent Edington.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Andy Alexander.

Services will be conducted at Noon on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Bro. Chuck Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.
