Daniel Thomas “Danny” Allen, 70, of Mt. Olivet, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born in Williamstown, KY on January 28, 1956, his father was the late Walter Allen and his stepmother was the late Ruby Brown.

Danny worked as a forklift driver at Toyo Seat in Flemingsburg for several years and was a lifelong farmer. He proudly served his country in the US Army serving in Vietnam.

Danny is survived by his wife of 20 years Melody Palm Allen; his children Dustin Allen, Matt Allen, Danny Allen Jr. and Sarah Murphy: his five grandchildren.

At Danny’s request all services are private and being cared for by Palmer Funeral Home.
