Dolores Collins Henson, 83, of Brooksville,  passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  She was born on August 2, 1934 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Leotis & Bessie Slone Collins.

Dolores was a homemaker and farmwife and was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and the Mt. Olivet Woman's Club.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Henson, two brothers; Bobby & Richard Collins and a sister, Sue Ann Cooper.

She is survived by her son, John L. (Amanda) Henson of Brooksville, her daughter, Darlene (David) Gifford of Robertson County, four grandsons; Lee Gifford and Les Gifford, both of Mt. Olivet, Christopher Henson of Lexington, South Carolina and Kyle Henson of Crestview Hills, four great grandchildren; Tanner & Sindole Gifford and Elyse & Allyson Henson, her brother, David (Caroline) Collins of Maysville and her sister, Linda Hord of Maysville.
