Donnie M. Hull, Age 75 of May's Lick passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1939 in Mason County to the late Ethel McDowell & Leo Clayton Hull.
Mr. Hull was a retired dairy, tobacco, grain and livestock farmer, and also a retired Teamster from Penske Logistics. He was a past member of the ASCS board, Farm Credit Advisory Board, and a current member of the May's Lick Cemetery Board. He was a collector of farm toys and machinery, and was noted for building intricate miniature farm buildings and landscapes. Among all his accomplishments he was also a very devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Darren Lee Hull, and a brother, Charles E. Hull.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Joellen Moreland Hull, two sons; Clay Reynolds (Suzy) Hull, of May's Lick, Jeff (Johna Hughes) Hull, of Maysville, a daughter, Jodi (Mike) Manley, of May's Lick, a daughter-in-law, Tina Hull, of May's Lick, five grandchildren; Wes Hull, Casey (Quan) Whitley, Lauren Manley, Chris (Jordan) Hull & Devin (Leslie) Hull, 5 great grandchildren, and a sister, Vickie Lynn (Bill) Day.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11AM on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with the Rev. Bob Ray officiating, Interment will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery, serving as casket bearers will be Devin, Chris & Wes Hull, Quan Whitley, John Soward and Reynolds Moreland, honorary bearers will be Bob Thomas, Estill Earls, Donnie Kirkland, Patrick Boggs, Anthony Whaley & Sean Singleton.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
