MAYS LICK   Donnie R. Mitchell, 74, of May's Lick passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born in Nicholas County on July 25, 1942 son of the late Curtis R. & Emma Tucker Mitchell.  Donnie was a retired farmer and in his early years was a salesman at Cheap Chevrolet and Charlie Holland Chevrolet and most recently worked at the Maysville Wal-Mart. He was an U.S. Air-Force veteran during the Vietnam War.  He was a very active person and loved people and enjoyed his retirement and family.

Survivors include his wife Dianna Barnett Mitchell; a daughter, Chastity (Jim Barr) Mitchell; a son Christopher White; two grandchildren, Austin Moore and Jayden White and the sunshine of his life Halee Medley; a brother Gary (Joyce) Mitchell and two sisters, Debbie Johnson and Barbara (Dale) Mitchell.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Tommy Mitchell.
