Dora Belle Carrington, 81 of Minerva, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Robertson County Health Care Facility.

Mrs. Carrington was born in Mason County on November 3, 1935 daughter of the late Foster & Sarah (Moran) Moran.  She was a kind hearted person and was a hard working mother and farmer's wife.

Survivors include 3 sons, Dave (Pam) Carrington, Harold (Lisa) Carrington and George (Michelle) Carrington all of Mason County; a granddaughter she raised, Jennifer  (Ronnie) Gillespie of Bracken Co.; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harvey Carrington; a son, Allen Carrington and a daughter Dorothy Jean Carrington; a sister Mary Ann Cooper and a granddaughter, Jessica Hope Carrington.

Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Bro. Tom Mitchell officiating.   Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
