MAYSVILLE Dorothy Laycock Cracraft, 74, well-known resident of Maysville passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her residence. She was a retired deputy Mason County PVA for 20 years and a member of Washington United Methodist Church and a RSVP volunteer. She was the widow of Ivan Wayne Cracraft whose death occurred on November 18, 1996.
Mrs. Cracraft was born in Dover on November 13, 1937 daughter of the late John William & Ruth Ladenburger Laycock.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Karen) Cracraft and Troy "Tuna" Cracraft and a grandson Nathan Cracraft all of Maysville. A sister Norma (Donald) Stapleton of Fernleaf and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and 3 brothers William Laycock, David Laycock and Lowell Laycock.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, Dec. 9th at Green Acres Cemetery in Maysville by Rev. Phil Bradley. Serving as pallbearers will be Cindy Taylor, LuAnn Asbury, Laurie Bach, Betty Hester, Pat Hargett and Amy Parker. No Visitation. A fellowship reception will be held following the graveside service at Washington UMC. Memorials suggest to Washington UMC P.O.
