Dorothy L. Darnell, 82 of Maysville passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  Mrs. Darnell was born on July 25, 1930 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Boyd Perry and Hattie Conley Perry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leonard Darnell, a son, Alan Boyd Darnell, a brother, Carlos Perry, and one infant brother, Samuel Perry.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Bruce Copley and wife Peggy, her granddaughter, Julie Ann Copley, Three Great Grandchildren; Tessa Ann McKee Copley, Kyle Bruce Aaron Copley and Natalie Jean Eileen Copley, all of Maysville, two brothers; Larry (Amelia) Perry, of Oak Hill, WV and William (Sally) Perry, of Peoria, IL, three sisters; Jane (James) Mynes, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Geneva McDaniels, of Defiance, OH and Gloria Jean Hetch, of Virginia.
Graveside Services will held at 1 PM, on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fleming County.  The Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family. Online condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
