MAY'S LICK  Edith Mae Jefferson Tolle, 85, a longtime resident of the Shannon Community passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.  She was a retired 35 yr. Bus Driver for the Mason County School System and a member of the Shannon United Methodist Church.  She was the widow of  George Wm. "Bill" Tolle who died  in 1986.
Mrs. Tolle was born in Mason County on August 13, 1925 daughter of the late Arthur & Vada Bryant Jefferson.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Emma Hatfield of Maysville, Janet (Richard) Bradford of Brooksville and Debbie (Jackie) Orme of Maysville.  1 son Charlie (Connie) Tolle of Maysville and 9 grand children, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a sister Clarine (Elmo) Highfield of Tollesboro.  She was also preceded in death by a son Billy Tolle and 4 brothers, Orville, Russell, Nelson and Earl Wayne Jefferson and a sister Helen Gifford and a son-in-law Calvin Hatfield.
Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at Shannon United Methodist Church with Bro. Danny Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 P.M. Monday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick and 1 hour prior to the service Tues. at the church.  www.palmerfuneralhome.net
