Maysville… Edward Lee Comer, age 88, of Lewisburg, Kentucky, died March 1, 2018 in Maysville. He was born on March 29, 1930 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Frank and Ellen Kreitz Comer.  He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Maysville, Kentucky.   He graduated from St. Patrick High School and was a lifelong farmer.   He was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his ten children, Rev. Michael Comer, Mark Comer, Kathleen Tubbesing (Mark), Suellen Faris (Al), Frank Comer (Debby), Ann Gallenstein (LeRoy), Mary Lee Glore (Ken), Maureen Comer (Greg Eiting), Chuck Comer (Amy) and Melissa Reynolds (Bill).  He also leaves 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Noreen O'Neill Comer, and his siblings, Mary Comer, Nancy Comer and Tommy (Margaret Ann) Comer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick Church in Maysville on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M with Rev. Michael Comer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Saint Patrick Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 until 8:00 on Monday evening and from 10:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday.  Memorials may be made to Saint Patrick School, 318 Limestone St, Maysville, KY 41056.  The Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Online condolensces to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
