MAYSVILLE   Elizabeth Turner Tibbs, 98, affectionately known as "Booboo", a longtime resident of Maysville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

Mrs. Tibbs was born at Mill Creek in Mason County on October 4, 1919 daughter of the late Walter & Martha Smith Turner.  She was the oldest living member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Lewisburg. Elizabeth was a valued & dedicated employee of the Hardymon family for many years.

She was preceded in the death by her parents and husband James C. Tibbs on July 17, 1989; two brothers and a sister.  She leaves to cherish her memory several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M.  Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Maysville. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the hour of the the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
