Ellen Jane Sims, 91, a lifelong resident of Robertson County passed away Monday, October 16, 2023.  Jane was born on November 6,1931 to the late Younger B. and Robbie Burns Linville.  She owned and operated Sims Grocery in the Burika Community for 25 years and was a member of Piqua Methodist Church and had attended the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ralph Clay Sims whose passed away on June 10,2010 and her sister Patsy Linville Wilson. Jane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mindy & Tom Saunders; two grandchildren and their wives Clay & Sarah Saunders, Taylor & Samantha Saunders and three very special grandsons, Beckett, Hayes and Beau.

Per Jane's request Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 18,2023 in the Shannon Cemetery with Dr. Mike Rice officiating.  Burial will follow.  Memorials suggested to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church or Sardis UMC.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
