MAY'S LICK  Emmitt "Crip" Moran, 84, of Maysville and formerly of Sardis passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Maysville Nursing & Rehab Facility.  He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Moran was born in Sardis on September 26, 1926 son of the late James Ezra & Anna Frances White Moran.
Survivors include a sister Anna Jewell Ross of Maysville and 3 half brothers, Robert Moran of Savannah, GA;  Donald Moran of Mt. Olivet and Larry Moran of Maysville. 2 half sisters, Betty Robinson and Rosetta Hafer of Maysville.  He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Reed Moran. 6 brothers, Omar, James, Everett, Sylvester, Lovell and William.  3 sisters, Sarah Mastin, Stella Cropper and Ruby Henderson.
Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Shannon Cemetery with Rev. Donna Kasik officiating.  Burial will follow and there will be no visitation.  Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family.  Memorials suggested to Hospice of Hope.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
