Fannie Jackson Williams 72, of Lexington and formerly of Mason County passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at UK Medical Center. She was the widow of Rev. C.H. Williams Sr.
Mrs. Williams was born in Fleming County on December 24, 1942 daughter of the late Perry Thomas & Frances Trumbo Jackson. She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church in Lexington. As very active pastor's wife she was a member of the Eastern Star, Catherine Walker Missionary Society, Mason County Homemakers, Baptist Minister's Wives Council and a Life Member of the Mason County PTA.
Survivors include a son C.H. Williams, Jr. of Maysville; 5 daughters, Ella (Roney) Campbell of Richmond, Frances (John) Blackford of Lexington, Roberta (Terry) Jackson of London, Lisa (James) Jones and Olivia Kay Williams of Lexington; 7 grandchildren, Marshall Williams, Sabrina Mabson-Powell, Jontez Jones ,Joral Jones, LaTavia Campbell, Diamond Jordan and Joseph Jackson. 4 great-grandchildren, Kristoffer and Kydan Powell, Jai-Mere Williams and Allie Waite; 5 sisters, Ida Byrd, Rachel Williams, Lauretta Penner, Mary Williams, Wanda Brown; 3 brothers, Cecil, Charles and Robert Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and 2 sisters, Emma Lewis and Roberta Adams and 2 brothers, James & John Jackson.
Services will be conducted at 7 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 237 E. 5th St Lexington with visitation 5 P.M. until the hour of the service. A Graveside Service will be held at Noon on Sat. September, 5, 2015 at the May's Lick Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. on Sat. at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.
