MAY'S LICK  Florene Howard, 89, of  May's Lick passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Woodford and Virginia Howard of Maysville.  She was the widow of Harold Howard whose death occurred in 2004 and  was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Howard was born in Nicholas County on October 15, 1921 daughter of the late John Talbort & Maude Lee Clay Staniford.
Survivors include a son Woodford R. (Virginia) Howard of Maysville and 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.  1 sister, Katherine Mullikin of Carlisle also survives.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Hampton in 2003 and a grandson.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, April 19th at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Jim Finch officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.  Visitation 6-8 P.M.
