IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frances Perry
Alexander
May 28, 1947 – November 30, 2025
Frances Alexander, 78, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington Kentucky. Born in Maysville on May 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William "Doc" Perry and Frances Guinn Perry Hall.
Frances dedicated her life to caring for others. As a gifted and accomplished nurse, she spent many years serving patients at Hayswood Hospital and Meadowview Hospital. She later worked at the Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, before retiring. Among her proudest accomplishments was her work as a flight nurse, where she couragelously assisted trauma patients being airlifted from UK Medical Center- an experience that reflected both her skill and her compassion. As a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church, Frances served faithfully as an usher and worked with children in Sunday School. Her warm spirit touched everyone who crossed her path. Known for "never meeting a stranger," she built lifelong friendships through her genuine kindness, generosity, and love for people.
Above all, Frances cherished her family-her children, grandchildren, and great children were the joy of her life. Frances is survived by her loving husband, Victor Alexander; her daughter, Tracy Perry Mintz (Joe Mintz) and her son, Arvid Pierre Hall.
She leaves behind her grandchildren; Sasha Mintz (Max Wilkinson), Kendra Mintz, Jaela Mintz Harris (Xavier Harris) and Darien Mintz, as well as four great grandchildren, Michael O'Rourke, Caden Wilkinson, Elijah Harris, and Mylah Harris.
She is also survived by her sisters, Wilma Rae Bolt (Walter Bolt) and Ann Pleasant (Melvin Pleasant) and her brother, Lamont Perry (Yolanda Perry). Aunt Elizabeth Clanton, Maryann Harding, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her brothers Artis K. Perry and William H. Perry, Jr., and her sisters, Flora Grandison and Roberta Dean Foley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home in Mayslick, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
