George Robert Lewis Jr, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at his home in Maysville, Kentucky. He was born on February 15, 1954, to the late George Robert Lewis Sr. and Emma Katherine Jackson Lewis.

After graduating from Mason County High School, George furthered his education at Murray State University, earning his bachelor's degree in business. He was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved to watch the Cincinnati Reds play baseball. George thoroughly enjoyed singing and always had a smile on his face that would light up a room.

George will be missed by his brothers, Anthony (Denise) Lewis, Johhny Lewis; sister, Pamela (Melvin) Wheaton, several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances and Perry Jackson, Sudie and Robert Lewis, parents, George and Emma Katherine Lewis, and his brother, Mike Lewis.

Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy George leaves behind on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick, KY.
