Gerald Lane Gifford, 57, of Flemingsburg passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  He was an employee of Ridley Block in Flemingsburg and had been a farmer.
Gerald was born in Mason County on March 31, 1956 son of the late Lawrence Roger and Helen Jefferson Gifford.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of  37 years Sue Thomas Gifford.  A son, Gerald Austin (Libertee) Gifford of Rectorville and a daughter, Delania Gifford of Flemingsburg;   2 grandchildren, Jamison and Alizabeth Gifford; 2 sisters, Mary (Real) Gagnon of Aberdeen, OH,  Roxanne (Kevin) Lawrence of May's Lick; 2 brothers, Roger Wayne Gifford of Cincinnati and William Dale (Connie) Gifford of Flemingsburg.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Larry Manning officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Michael Bradley, Brandon Sanders, Howard "Jr." Smith, David Tackett, Dennis Mers, Gary McCord.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Napier and Jimmy Scolf.  Visitation 5-8 P.M.
