MAY'S LICK Harold Burns Craig, 92, former resident of this area passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Arcadian Cove Assisted Living in Richmond, KY.
Mr. Craig was born in Robertson County on October 21, 1920 son of the late Frank Harold & Harriet Stewart Craig. His wife Norma Jean Jones Craig died in 1998.
He was a retired farmer and active member of the community serving formerly on the Robertson Co. ASCS committee and a member of the Robertson County School Board. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and a veteran on the U.S. Army.
Survivors include four daughters, Diana Craig Orme of Maysville, Tarasa Craig (Dale) Beagle of Mt. Olivet, Rhonda Craig (Owen) Barnes of Richmond and Andrea Craig (Keith) Kirkpatrick of Crab Orchard. A son Harold David (Brenda) Craig of Salvisa (Mercer Co). Ten grandchildren, Cheri (Todd) Johnson, Randy Orme, Angela (Scott) Logdon, Brian (Sherri) Craig, Travis (Monica) Barnes, Joanna Gilbert, Jacob (April) Barnes, Karli Kirkpatrick, Staci Kirkpatrick and Tyler (Chelsi) Kirkpatrick. Fifteen great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and second wife Pauline Cassidy Craig; four brothers, Ennis Craig, Glenn Craig, Vernon Craig and Herschel Craig ; two sisters, Louise Hitch and Mae Rosalyn Pridgen.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation 11 A.M.
