Harry Owen Collins, 96, of Minerva, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 30, 1928, to the late Charles and Lela Carpenter Collins. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy for several years and worked for Browning Manufacturing for years as a tool and die maker before retiring.

Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Collins and his two sons, Charles and Marty Collins.

Survivors include his children, Robert (Donna) Collins of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Michael (Marsha) Collins of Tollesboro, KY, Teresa Smith of Lexington, KY and his daughter in law, Shelia Collins of Augusta, KY; his grandsons, John William Collins (Rita Gray), Joseph Michael (Candie) Collins of Pikeville, KY, Nicholas Andrew (Samantha) Collins of Tollesboro, KY; great grandchildren, Austin, Andrew, Daelyna, and Ben Collins; two great great grandchildren, Linden and Rowan Collins, along with several extended family members and friends.

In keeping with Harry's wishes, no formal services will be held at his time.
