Henry "John" James, Sr., 63 of May's Lick passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence.  John was born on February 14, 1956 in Lodi, Ohio.  He enjoyed his work as a Regional Truck Driver and working on vehicles and creative fabrication.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Christine Furr James, his daughter, Nickie (Dave) Keck of May's Lick, his son, Henry J. (Trina) James, Jr. of Tollesboro, four grandchildren, Devin & Damien Tash, Henry James, III & Skylee James and his mother-in-law, Jossie Furr.
