MAY'S LICK  Irene French, 87, of Maysville passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Maysville Nursing & Rehab Facility.  She was the widow of Clarence French, Jr. and a retired cook at Browns Restaurant.
Mrs. French was born in Portsmouth,  OH  on May 23, 1925 daughter of the late Ira & Mary Lula Tucker Wilson.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Judith Tucker of Maysville, Mary Applegate of Mt. Orab, OH, Gloria Tomlin of Falmouth and a son Kenneth French of Dover.  14 grandchildren and several great grand & great- great grandchildren also survive and  3 sisters, Doris Kendall of Maysville, Louise Ritchie of North Carolina and Carolyn Campbell of South Bend, IN;  1 brother, Howard French of Clarksville, TN.
Services will be at Noon on Monday, Jan. 7,  2013 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Tyler McFarland, Scotty Applegate, Donnie Jones, Lance French, Chad French and Brandon Morgan.
